Baby measuring small?

Question

Can I have any and all stories related to mamas who measured small during their pregnancies? (Bonus points if you were ~35 weeks) 
Can you tell if you’re measuring small based on appearance alone? An RN took a look at me today and said I was really tiny and tomorrow they want me to come back because she suspects I’m measuring small. This is on looks alone.

I wouldn’t worry! Even actually measuring with a measuring tape is an estimate so just based on looks won’t tell you anything. The baby’s position has a lot to do with how they will measure. If you are measuring small your doctor may decide to do an ultrasound to get a better idea.

I barely have any belly, I can still wear my regular clothes (I dont for comfort) but at my last appointment my doc measured my fundal height, said I was measuring pretty small, and now I have an ultrasound and will be induced if he is measuring small. I'm 31 weeks right now

No they can’t tell by looks alone how your measuring. They need to take your fundal height measurement. The nurse should’ve taken a tape measure to measure distance between the highest point on your uterus to the top of your pubic bone. 
I’m 34 weeks and smaller build, I get told all the time how small I am but whenever they measure me I measure right on target.

My daughter measured small in all the ultrasounds- she was born small just over 6 lbs but is healthy and thriving. I had multiple growth scans to make sure she was still thriving in utero. I wasnt induced but the date was set because her growth had plateaued. My OBGYN told me she thinks I just make tiny babies with my husband.
