Anyone else not hear a heartbeat through a Doppler at 9 weeks?

Went for my appointment today. I’m 9 weeks exactly. The midwife couldn’t find a heartbeat with the Doppler and ordered an ultrasound for later this week. Hubby and I are a little concerned even though she said we don’t need to be. Has this happened to anyone else?

Normal to not hear one until 12 weeks or later with a doppler.

My doctor wouldn’t even attempt to find it with a doppler at 9 weeks, only found it by ultrasound

My midwife didn't even try until I was 24 weeks.

I didnt get to hear my baby's heartbeat until 14 weeks! My tummy was too gurgle-y most of the time, and when my tummy wasnt gurgling away, my heart was beating so hard and loud that they couldn't find baby's heartbeat no matter where they moved

My midwife doesn't even try until 14 or 16 weeks (been a bit). :)

My doctor didn't even use the doppler until 15 weeks. It's totally normal not to hear anything at 9 weeks.

Well I’m scheduled for an ultrasound later this week. The ultrasound tech was out today which was why she gave the Doppler a chance but said she was worried. Thanks for easing my anxiety!
