When did you mamas start collecting your postpartum necessities and what did you actually need? I’m 35+4

I just had some regular pads, extra ibuprofen, stool softeners and homemade padsicles

Heavy flow pads and panty liners, Motrin- it’s best for cramps, stool softeners. 
If you’re breast feeding breast pads. I bought bought reusable and disposable. I personally like the disposable ones better. I feel like they hold more. Nipple cream- I have tried three different kinds, Lanolin, motherlove and the first years. I liked the motherlove off amazon the most. I don’t have to use it as much as the others to feel comfortable. snacks that you can eat while you’re feeding. I bought cereal bars and granola bars, crackers... things like that. Milk storage bags if you are going to start building up a supply. I have been pumping once a day ever since I had my daughter so that I will have milk stashed for when I do back to work.

Tucks, pads, stool softener, and aleve.  I had an episiotomy with my first birth and it was very uncomfortable to sit so I had my husband go buy one of those blow up hemorrhoid rings and it was so helpful!  This time around I also got some Earth Momma perineum spray.  I’m 32 weeks now and have it all set already just in case.

The hospital gave me all my supplies that I needed. Maybe just get ibuprofen and a comfortable chair 😂
