When did your ob talk about inducing you..?🤗

I’m 36 weeks tomorrow and last Wednesday my little man weighed 5.8💙 everyone thinks he’s pretty big for how far along I am. He’s gained a pound and a half every 2 weeks. And my doctor hasn’t really said anything at all about inducing or anything I’m very tiny I weigh 134 right now and my high risk said I shouldn’t get over 7 1/2 bc his shoulders could get stuck. I have gestational diabetes as well. Just wondering when yalls ob’s brought up the idea about inducing!👣

The weight on ultrasound doesnt mean anything, they estimated my second to be 10+ pounds but she came out 8pounds. My dr wouldn't induce me even at 41 weeks or even set up a day for induction , I was so over it that I walked into the hospital and demanded it. They sent me home with an induction date for that very next morning, but she came on her own in 3 hours after we left lol

You trusted that your body knew how to grow this baby - with perfect fingers + toes + limbs + organs - don’t stop trusting your body now! It is very unlikely for you to grow a baby that you are unable to deliver. Small women have large babies all the time, without intervention or complications. Inducing is more likely to lead to complications than just allowing your body to finish what it’s started ♥️

I started talking to my ob about it when I was 36 weeks

I was induced with both of my daughters. First daughter at 35 weeks 6 days and second daughter at 36 weeks to the day.

Unless there is a medical necessity, my OB won’t consider scheduling an induction until the 41 week appointment.

I went in yesterday at 37 weeks and 3 days and she scheduled a foley bulb induction for the 27th

It’s so much better for your baby to come when he/she is ready! Inducing based on potential size is rarely necessary. Even if you are tiny it is very unlikely that you will grow a baby too big to come out the old fashion way.

my midwife dossnt believe in inducing unless I hit 42 weeks. But at that point i wont be able to have a birthing center birth, I'd have to go to a hospital
