Any medical examiners out there?

I’m only 16 so I have time to decide but I was considering medical examination for a career. 12 years of college doesn’t really seem worth it, but I don’t really know. Can anyone help? Give any advice or tell me what it’s like to be one? I really appreciate it thanks!

Hey there! I definitely would look for colleges that work with mortuary science as career builders.
Look for an academic advisor who you can talk to or even set up an appointment with to get a sense of the classes, workload, career possibilities etc. 
Try to connect with a medical examiner in your county or state by email or call. They are usually super nice people and always willing to help. 
I would talk to them and ask if they or someone they know can talk to you about medical examiner as a profession. They will definitely give you a good perspective of the job.
