Antibiotics making me sick?

Hey ya’ll 👋🏼. I am 11 weeks+4 and I recently got my urine and bloodwork back from my first prenatal appointment which showed I have a UTI. They prescribed me an antibiotic called Nitrofurantoin and it’s making me extremely ill (vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, etc). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do? Please please help 🙏🏽

Call your OB and tell them, they need to prescribe you something else.

I have the same reaction to any antibiotics it isn’t nice, your stomach hasn’t got any good bacteria as antibiotics kill any bacteria in your stomach. I have to drink/eat good bacteria yogurts 3 times a day to help reduced the side affects I normally get extreme stomach ache aswell. Phone your doctors see if any others that you can try and also buy some good bacteria yogurts that will soon help you feel a little better.. 😊
