Does anybody consider a step cousin as a blood cousin or is it not your cousin? just curious for RELATIONSHIP wise, would it be "nasty"

It’s not a blood relative any way you look at it. Now as far as dating them it depends if it’s weird or not. If you have grown up together and stuff it’s a little weird. But if you were not close and don’t really look at each other as family then whatever.

I call my step cousins my cousins. I think it would be weird if you have called them your cousin since you were little but if they just got married into the family then it wouldn't be gross relationship wise

No I don’t consider them blood because they aren’t. But it’s still weird and I think gross to have a relationship with them like that’s still your cousin.... it’s like strop brothers and sisters... it’s still your siblings.

I have step cousins and siblings. I just call them my cousins and siblings and think of them as blood family but they aren’t technically blood related to me.

My two oldest aren’t my husbands. And his brothers two kids call them cousins. Lol. They have introduced them that way since probably oh we were only together for 6 months. Lol. So I consider it to be cousins. Family is family.
