Ready to have kids?

How did you know when you and your hubby were ready to have kids?

After we got married we just said God's timing will be perfect so. We didn't have the best circumstances at the time I got pregnant but everything is working out well. Moving our new 3 bed place next week. I don't believe in waiting until everything is in order, because things can change real fast. You can have a good job one day and nothing the next, or you might lose it years later when your kids are in school. A house isn't 'yours' if you're paying a mortgage so you can lose that too.

We agreed on certain logistics: being at our jobs over a year and financially stable. Then it just came down to when we were both emotionally on the same page. I wanted a baby about a year before he was ready so I waited for him to be ready. Once he was, and not for any particular reason he just said he wanted to start trying, we started trying!

When we got married, I was on birth control for 4 months. My husband is 5 yrs older than me, & didn’t want to wait too long to have a baby. I was fine with it, & stopped bc, knowing it could take a while to get pregnant. But 4 months later I was pregnant. We were so excited! Now we’ve been ttc baby #2 for over 5 yrs. I know it’ll happen some day!

Honestly we didn’t. Both pregnancies were unplanned but my husband and I took full responsibility. Kids are a beautiful blessing

We worked very hard to buy a house that would be perfect for kids, we both have good paying steady jobs and we paid off our debt. We are in our late 20s and just felt like it was time. :)
