Familyđ
So my grandma calls me up today and we were talking about the snow and about life. She tells me that she sent my little cousin Maddisun a package for her birthday, and wrote that it was from her, my mom, and me.
She tells me that my Aunt Kim (Maddisuns mom) , told her there was sleeping pills in the box. Now my grandma can barely see so itâs no surprise she put them in the wrong box. My Aunt Kim has the nerve to say âI bet Asa put them in thereâ. Asa is my mom.
We have been having family issues with that side of the family since we had other plans and couldnât go to Aunt Kims daughters birthday party. They hold it against us saying we shouldâve cancelled our plans.
Anyway, my grandma tells my Aunt Kim that my mom would never do that. And my Aunt Kim doesnât believe her.
My mom doesnât know about any of this, as she has a heart condition and we donât want to stress her out.
My question is, if you were in my position, and someone is trying to accuse your mom, (who is the most helpful and loving person on this earth) of trying to give her 13 year old daughter sleeping pills, what would you do?
Should i leave it alone, tell my mom, talk to Aunt Kim myself? Iâm very confused and instances like this have been going on for years. We try to get away from the family but they always seem to butt back into our lives... help!
