Ready to try again?

Question

So a little back story I have pcos so it took a very long time to get pregnant along with the help of medication. Husband wants to start trying again. We want a large family and would like to have them somewhat close together. That being said how close is 2 close ? I had an easy Pregnacy and really loved being pregnant and have a very easy baby! I'm also still nursing and have yet to get a period back. I know that it could be months before it returns but wondering if it is still to early to "try"

My doctor told me that the risk of pre-term birth goes up for pregnancies less than a year postpartum (but not to panic if it did happen), so that’s something to keep in mind. 
I personally like to wean before trying again because I would like to have a little bit of time where my body is just my own. Every family is different though, so you have to do what’s right for you!

I need a fourth choice option that says in a few years.. haha I would love another but not until my first is at least three years old. This is only because I want to give her my undivided attention during the first few years because she will be growing and changing so much!  I don’t feel like I could cherish it as much if I’m also caring for another child. When she’s more independent I won’t feel guilty for not giving her my attention and I will also be able to put more energy into the second child. Just my opinion but I know many love having kids close in age! There’s just never a guarantee they will be close no matter what their age difference, it’s all about personality!

I got pregnant right after I stopped nursing and didn’t have my period back yet at 5 months postpartum. (& I was on birth control for Nursing at the time) So I didn’t even know bc I never had a period but I was feeling off so I decided to test and it was positive. I don’t think there’s a too close time. I wasn’t planning on trying again until mine was a year old but God had different plans! We were shocked at first but totally excited now. Go for it! I think when the couple is ready then it’s fine!

We aren't full on trying nor are we preventing.. just letting nature take its course and if it's meant to be, it will be. We tried for 9 months with our first and it was stressful so we are just letting it happen this next time. Good luck 😊

I’m pregnant again too baby #2... had pcos diagnosed in my 20s now I’m almost 43! Baby #1 is almost 8 months she’s formula fed... best of luck trying!

I have PCOS also. With my daughter it took 4 months to get pregnant and we started “thinking about trying again” when my daughter was about 15 months. I was pregnant the next month with my son. They are almost exactly 2 years apart.

My April baby is my third and final baby, sadly. I enjoyed my pregnancy as much as I could because I had horrible morning sickness but I do miss being pregnant. But I don’t miss the morning sickness, sleepless nights, baby blues, etc etc. But to answer your questions I would say whenever you feel ready go for it!

I’m already pregnant again. I also have pcos and it seems to be getting worse so I’m trying to have kids while I can.
