C section/birth anxiety

I had my first child 8/10/16. I was induced after my original due date and tried for a vaginal birth but was told it likely wouldn’t happen bc I have a very narrow pelvis. After 16 hours of labor she wouldn’t fit so we went in for a c section. I felt my c section even though I had several epidurals. Told them when they were drawing the incision line that I could feel it not just pressure. And they upped my meds and started to cut for which I continued to feel until they had to give me ketamine and I was knocked out. They don’t fully know why I was able to still feel and think maybe bc I have fibromyalgia and my nerves are so sensitive. My baby also was in the nicu for an infection from swallowing meconium when my water broke. Has anyone else felt their c section? I’d love to do a VBAC but with my pelvis so narrow last time I don’t know that it will happen and the thought of feeling my c section again has me pretty terrified of birth. I’d like to remember actually meeting this child other than seeing the meeting on video :(
