Full moons?

Has or do you know of any one that a full moon has brought on labor?? I’ll be 38 weeks and I’m already dilated to a one with a baby measuring big.. was just wondering if this was a real thing? lol

Yes! Both of my daughters were born on the full moon 🌕 it’s weird and I didn’t believe in it prior but hoping for #3 next Friday 😬🤞🏼

I told everyone last week the full moon was going to put me into labor. The full moon always messes with my mood. We shall see.

I was 40 weeks during full moon AND during a hurricane. They often say( nurses that is) that during a hurricane,  the drastic drop in barometric pressure, will put women in active labor.
Well, full moon and during a hurricane and I didnt go in labor. I went in labor at 41 weeks. After the full moon and hurricane were done and over.
While the hurricane and changes in barometric pressure, holds some factual truth behind women going in active labor, full moon has no scientific evidence of doing the same.
Full moon and bringing on labor is more of a old wives tale. With no scientific evidence to back it up, I'm gonna say full moons dont actually bring on labor. A woman might very well go in labor during a full moon. I'm sure theres plenty of babies born during a full moon, but that doesnt mean the full moon bring on labor. It just so happens that baby was ready to come out.
Theres no scientific evidence that show an increase of active labor or births,  during a full moon. There is scientific evidence of increase in labor and births during hurricanes,  due to the drastic and quick drop in barometric pressure.
