Does your work have any Xmas lunch event?

Not a lunch event, but a holiday party at top golf. They keep hounding me asking if my SO is going to be there and I keep telling them he doesn’t know yet. But little do they know I won’t even be there because I’m putting my 2 weeks in hopefully this Friday

My company does a big christmas party on the first weekend of December. It’s like going to a wedding, we get a plus one. Open bar all night, photo booth, live band and DJ, and sit down dinner. The doctors also hand out $100 bills during like a gift exchange. You buy a $5 gift card to anywhere and they put in the $100 bill and we pass it around like musical chairs! 😂😂

Yes, this new company I work for does. They're actually really nice - last year I was only working for them flexi time and I still got invited to the Christmas Dinner. The other company I was working for, I was the only one who wasn't invited to the Christmas Dinner (even though I was still paid by the same company, and worked very closely with that division, because I wasn't formally part of it I was never invited:.
