Birth control?

I’m 16 years old and I live in the United States. My parents won’t take me to a gyno and let me get birth control pills. How do I get them without parents if I can’t drive? I would like them to help regulate my period, since they are so severe I cannot eat or drink for a week and wind up dehydrated by the end of my period.

You can get birth control from your local health department or planned parenthood without your parents permission if your under 18.

I cannot stand when parents don't allow their teenager to get on birth control. 
That's so selfish, and you're putting you're child at risk of getting pregnant 🙄 
I say fuck them, and go to planned parenthood or whatever they have where you live.

They sell birth control online now.. not sure how much or what the age is though.

You can go to planned parenthood or your health department. You can also get birth control from your regular doctor, it doesnt have to be a gyno. Maybe ask them to make an appointment for just a check up and then while you're there explain how hard of a time you have with your periods. Maybe if its suggested by your doctor your parents will be more willing to agree to it.

If your 16 you can go to the doctors yourself as you are now old enough by law ! you just need to find a way to get a lift there . ....

My opinion and it's just an opinion is allow yourself to be a teenager and don't grow up so fast. I wasn't thinking about sex at 16 and I know times have changed. I wish you the best.
