How do you know you have PCOS?

What are the signs and ways to know? How did you find out you had it?
UPDATE: I do NOT have PCOS. I’m
“Borderline Endo” but I was also 2 days away from starting AF. So they said not to worry about it. Thank you all for keeping my mind at ease and informing me. I appreciate it tons ❤️

Weight gain, absent period, and also my mom has it so I pretty much already knew that’s what was going on.

I was diagnosed last month with a transvaginal ultrasound. The doctor did lab work & everything was okay but had elevated testosterone. I don't have the "typical symptoms." No facial hair, overweight, or anything like that but dr said I have tons of cysts on both ovaries.

Some have irregular cycles, weight gain or increased facial hair. A blood test and ultrasound by your OBGYN would confirm

I found out when I was 14. Had a cyst that nearly ruptured my ovary. They did ultrasounds and bloodwork. I don't have classic physical symptoms. I am not overweight and have mild facial hair. I don't ovulate on my own. I need to take medication when I want to ovulate so I can conceive.

Well I just had my ultrasound. I can tell my left ovary ( always crampy and in pain ) has the bead like cysts and is enlarged. The right looks “normal”. My doctor will read the ultrasound on Monday but I can already see what is going on. 😔😢 my boyfriend and I want a baby so bad. We’ve been trying for 2 months and the rest of the months, we’ve just used no protection. I know he is set on having one or two more children. I feel so let down and like a failure. Like whats the point of us staying together now if I can’t even make a baby with him. That was one of our main goals as a couple. AF is due this week, I’m an emotional wreck. Probably over thinking. I really feel like this will end us.

Thank you all for your responses! I really appreciate the time you took to let me know. Last year I had two softball sized cysts that ruptured. I was taken in for surgery because they thought my appendix ruptured. It was extremely painful. I have regular periods. But spot a few days before they actually start. I always have cramping and can feel cysts rupture but not doctors will tell me anything. I got tomorrow for an in depth transvaginal ultrasound. Hopefully I can get some solid answers.
