Pcos and metformin.

Ashleigh

Hello all. We have been ttc now for 18months my periods have never been regular and when i do get a period it can last 2-3 weeks sometimes just 2-3 days i was concerned as to why it was taking so long we tryed to track my ovulation and descovered i was not actualy ovulating, i had an appointment with my doctor and had some tests and a pelvis ultra sound done. Turned out i have pcos. I got given metformin to take to hopefully make me ovulate and have regular periods. The first month of taking metformin was great no bad side effects and my first period of 6days. I was over the moon thinking this could be it! Then bang now on day 67 of no period and still not ovulated???. If you knew me personally you would understand how much it means to me to be a mother. My partner has 2 children from previous relationship and is realy supportive comes to all appointments with me. Now i dont know if its just me that thinks like this but im now starting to think im never going to be a mother which is breaking my heart deep inside. I know my partner is never going to leave he has always said we are together forever children or no children. I just get a horrible feeling his is going to leave 😢
