Pregnancy-induced arthritis?

Has anyone experienced symptoms similar to arthritis in their hands, without any history if it before pregnancy? I’m just about 33 weeks, and for 2 weeks now I wake up with the stiffest hands and painful joints. It takes about 15-20 mins for the stiffness to get better but the pain never goes away. My doctor checked everything and said it doesn’t sound like carpal tunnel (which I’ve had and it definitely isn’t that), and I haven’t had a sudden weight gain (in fact I’ve barely gained in my 3rd trimester), no GD, swelling isn’t too bad. I’ve never heard of this happening and only made it to 31 weeks my last pregnancy so wondering if this is something anyone else has experienced and what helps?
