Confused on cycle

So I just tested and got my positive opk. I’m on cycle day 10. I have PCOS and my cycles are anywhere between 26-32 days. However my period only last 1-3 days, but typically 2.

In September and October we were seeing a fertility dr. He wasn’t check for ovulation til cycle day 14 then having me take the shot to make ovulation happen. So I’m just curious could I have not gotten pregnant those months because I ovulated early?

Also if I ovulate on day 10 or 11 why doesn’t my period start til cycle day 32?

I’m just confused and trying to figure this out. We have been TTC since April 2017 with 2 miscarriages and losing my right tube. But I have a good feeling about this month 🤞🏻
