ADVICE from Couples In Long-term Relationships

So I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year and a half. We are happy, we have our ups and downs but I want to know if this is normal. We clicked immediately upon meeting and haven’t stopped talking to each other a day since. I would say he’s everything I can ask for a man just with regular flaws and we are growing together.

I came out of a 4 year abusive relationship and I’m just learning what a healthy relationship is and I’m so confused. Sometimes (when I’m pmsing) I get moody and questioning his loyalty, love, and if we will last. I’m so paranoid about getting cheated on because of my past. He doesn’t really give me a reason to but I guess I’m scared of wasting my time and kind of scarred from my previous abusive relationship. I don’t want to push him away and he’s been patient with me (as I with him LOL) but I need some insight from those that have been in a solid relationship for years and what are the norms of it and things that no one tells you until you’re in it.

Sorry this post is so long but I want to be a better person for him, he deserves it. He makes me and my son so happy.
