Did you decide on your babies name before or after they were born?

Question

My husband and I have had our names picked out for years but now that I’m pregnant I’m wondering if we should wait to meet our baby in person?!
What did you do?

I’ve had names picked out before I even got pregnant.. when I got pregnant with my son nothing fit and then one day I called him his dads name and it was like something clicked.. so I gave him his fathers name and it fits perfectly!! 
My daughters name was one I wanted since I was a kid and it just felt right the whole time with her.

We had names wee liked, and waited until he was born for the final. When he came out, I said "hello,  Jonathan" for the first time. It was amazing and so special. We hadn't even found out the baby's sex, which made it all the better!

I literally did not mean to vote lol I don’t have kids but I do have names picked out already.

I voted "before", but we didn't tell anybody the name because we knew there was a small chance we might change it if we didn't think our son looked/felt like the name

I put after because we didn’t know the sex of the baby and had a name for each picked out but we weren’t 100% on them and just knew when we saw him!

My first I didn’t really name till he was born but my Second her name just clicked with me from 18weeks, I just knew it was her name

We have a list of names we pick from after finding out the sex and then we narrow it down to one and go with that . If ever after birth we hate the name or feel like it just doesn’t fit , we’d certainly go with something else , but so far so good lol we’re 2 for 2

I name my daughter before she was born and I'm naming my second one before shes born also. My step mom was confused how I could have a name picked out and no back up name. I told her this is the name I'm picking. She then asked me what if she doesnt look like a Riley so I asked her what is a "Riley" suppose to look like? My name is Lisa and I been told that I could have 5 other names because I look like them. So really what is a name suppose to look like? Before my daughter was born the name clicked when she was born the name still clicked.

We have a list of about 15 names for a boy & the same for a girl but we narrowed it down to our top 3 of each & picked from that.
