Baby shower planning ???

How long in advance did you start planning your baby shower? Making an invite list , planning games ect ?? 
My baby shower is probably going to be the weekend after my mom gets married so it’ll most likely be March 9th. But I will be approaching 37 weeks , is that too late? Should I try and make it sooner? I don’t know squat about this 😂😂😂

I’ve started planning a month ago I’m 18 weeks now and I’ll be having mine at 30 weeks and I’m having another one (I’m from Ohio so my moms throwing me one, I live in KY so my mother in law is throwing me one too). So I’ll be like 33-35 weeks when that one happens.

I good time measure is 10 weeks before EDD so you'll have time to get everything sorted out and exchanged if need be, also still a quick trip to the shop for those last essential items. But that is just a personal preferance. I think 37 weeks is a little late as you could go into labour around that time and you will most probably be quite uncomfortable...

Took me about a month just to make sure everything was in place. And i did mine at 33+5. Yes you should do it sooner or you'll be too uncomfortable and don't feel like moving my 37 imo

My shower was at 35 weeks.. I wouldn’t go after 35 tho, I had my son at 38 weeks lol I was gonna have the shower that weekend (when I first started planning lol)

I'll be 34 weeks when we have mine. We are just doing a sprinkle since my boy stuff is gone and we had a girl after so now I need boy stuff again. I would definitely look into sooner so you have 
A.) Some lead way time to get every thing settled
And
B.) Get what you didnt get and will need before baby is here. 
I feel 37 weeks is too close for comfort for me incase some thing happens and labor comes early. ( Praying it wont for you though!)

Yes, make it sooner. 
You’ll be big and uncomfortable by 37 weeks plus you won’t have much time to wash all your gifts (clothes, blankets, etc), do returns, plus buy whatever you’re missing if your shower is at 37 weeks. 
My first child was born at 37 weeks. Ideally I think sometime between 28-34 weeks works best.
