What was your largest holiday bonus?

Just curious, no shaming here! What do you think the standard should be, or do you not expect to receive something extra?

I work at a retirement home, all year the residents do fundraisers so they can give all the employees a Christmas bonus. It gets larger every year, their goal this year is for each person to get at least $170

I’m a teacher. We don’t get bonuses or gifts. We get a small meal and about 2 weeks off so I guess that counts! (I’d rather get $ and have less of a break!)

We don’t get bonuses because we don’t usually work in December. I make like $1300-$1600 a week though
