What should I do ?

So I have this girl in my class and she is sorta of a friend idk her that well but my best friend is friends with her and knows her. So she sits by me in class and I was talking to her and she tells me she has 2 kids and some other things mind you guys we are 16/17 so it caught me off guard and she was telling me about how is a son and a daughter and so I talk to my best friend and my best friend said yea she told her except she told my best friend a slightly different story then she told me she told my best friend that her son was alive and her daughter was dead and that the father of her baby killed the daughter then he commuted suicide. When I went and asked her how her daughter was doing she said she is good she is at home right now. She even brought in a picture of her “son” and “daughter” which I’m. Pretty sure is one of her younger brothers. This is so ridiculous should I confront her or just ignore it she tells everyone about this . I just don’t think is funny to say you have 2 kids and one of them was murdered and the dad committed suicide because people actually go through this in real life and that it is no joking matter . Anyway tell me what you guys think
