i have a 1 week & 3 day old that has really bad gas & constipated with like pasty poop . we’ve took him to the pediatrician and they gave us some formula just to make him poop and when he had a bowel movement go back to your regular milk .. he’s had a bowel movement so we stopped it . now he just has really bad gas & tummy pain . he’s on enfamil gentlease formula & dr brown bottles & im down to my last resort and hosnrly think it’s the formula making him constipated and gassy .. when he was born and was only breastfed and pooped PERFECT .. as soon as we put him on the formula is when the gas & constipation started .. soooo like i said , i’m almost 99% sure it’s the formula .. we just got some enfamil enspire today because i saw a bunch of good reviews on it & it’s a new formula closest to breast milk , which i’ll be supplementing with breast milk as well .. what’s yalls advice ?? does the milk take a few days to work ? like will his body have to adjust to the new milk ? i’m so ready for the gas to go away , he wines in his sleep & strains all night & day :(
