When should I announce my pregnancy?

I am about 7 weeks pregnant and I’m dying to tell everyone. I’ve told my parents but no one else. People say it’s bad luck to announce early and to wait after the first trimester is over? I was thinking of announcing for Xmas. What do you guys think? How long did you wait? Thanks 💗

I think whenever you want to announce is fine. If it’s 4 weeks or 30 weeks! It’s totally up to you ! Children are blessings sent from God

We told our parents around 8 weeks. They told certain family members. We told a few friends around 12 weeks. Other than that, no one else knows. We haven’t announced on SM and aren’t planning to until he’s born.

We told immediately family as soon as we found out. We then would wait until 8 weeks to tell close friends. At 12 weeks we announce to the world.

I didn’t announce till 22 weeks, but that was just because I couldn’t hide it anymore

The thing to keep in mind is, the miscarriage rate is very high in first trimester and to everyone you told you were pregnant, if something was to happen (hopefully not) you’ll have to tell them what happened. I knew I wasn’t strong enough to say multiple times that I have miscarried so we decided to not say anything until 13 weeks. 🤷🏼‍♀️ but that’s just us.

We announce to everyone as soon as we find out. 5 weeks all 3 times. 2 were miscarriages but it will be the same with next baby.
