I wouldn’t get invested if I were you girl. If a guy really likes you he won’t disappear like that without letting you know what is going on before or during... not days later. I bet you a million bucks he had his phone the whole time and would have text you if he wanted to. I’ve been in situations like this too many damn times.... next time he will just have a different excuse.

Sounds like he’s going through some shit. I was with my dad when he passed away and I barely focused on my husband, let alone anyone else. I got no sleep barely for three days and then after that was the wake, then the funeral. So it was a lot of stress. I couldn’t imagine the flu on top of that. I would wait a couple of days then text him again and if still has excuses then yeah he’s just using excuses and leading you on. But I wouldn’t think that just because of this

If a guy wants to talk to you, he finds a way to talk to you. When I first started seeing my boyfriend (we were just hanging out, weren’t “dating” yet), he came down with the flu and was out of commission for like 2 weeks. But he never just disappeared for several days at a time. He let me know that he was sick and that he would be back in touch as soon as the felt better. He checked in with me every other day at first, then eventually it was every day. If a guy is interested, he will find a way to reach out. Not saying this guy isn’t into you, just saying don’t throw too much at him if you aren’t getting it back!
