I don’t really know what’s going on yet and I’m super scared. Doctors won’t give me any answers yet and it’s killing me. I went in for a normal doctors visit yesterday. I’m 20 weeks so the doctor decided to take a quick ultrasound to check on things. My baby’s heart rate was so slow. I watched it on the screen beat as if it were mine. I knew something was wrong. She told me to go to the hospital right away (it’s next door) to have it checked further and seemed truly uneasy. When I went to labor and delivery in the hospital heart rate went to 135. But also kept dropping to 77, 80 etc. they decided to have me take an ultrasound next door at fetal medicine but they said there was no doctor there to read the results and sent me home saying they’d call me within 48 hours to tell me. I’ve received nothing so far. Has anyone else had this happen? Was it okay? I’m seriously freaking out. I already was made aware of some possibilities and it’s bleak. Please help. I’m freaking out.
