Ya we matched on tinder lol. I asked AFTER he gave me his number if we could be friends... He said “Friends Works”
Now he’s begging for forgiveness to my brother for even talking to me!!
What the hell??

Some people just live by the "you cant date my sibling" rule to their friends and his friend thinks he broke that rule. Thats it.

I don’t think it’s weird. I think the guy thought he put himself in a position to apologize to his friend... He probably didn’t want your brother to think he intentionally seeked you out on a dating site 🤷🏼‍♀️. I would probably do the same thing, if I was friends with siblings, and was put in this situation. He doesn’t want to overstep boundaries and ruin a friendship with your brother. I think that makes him a pretty decent person for going to your brother! He was upfront and honest about the situation, and maybe he’s interested in you, and wanted to see your brothers reaction to that idea.
