Smoking to help with morning sickness ??

Did anyone smoke  weed while pregnant ? I recently saw a post on fb speaking about it helping women with morning sickness. I have extremely bad morning sickness.. to the point were I have to stay in bed an hour before getting up to start my day. I want to try it but I’m worried it will effect my child negatively. So what’s your advice/ experience on this ?

Smoking anything while pregnant is taking a risk. There’s lots of other things to help with nausea

My state does drug test and also does them once you have the baby, anything you have ever taken of done will be in the baby’s umbilical cord, my aunt got her child taken over her failing the test at the hospital, any smoke can be dangerous while pregnant, I wouldn’t risk it woman put up with extreme morning sickness everyday, it’s apart of life

Yes, it can negatively affect your child. It can also cause you to be challenged legally even if it is legal in your state. Children who test positive for any drug or alcohol at birth are subject to DHS referral and removal.

My advice is first speak to your doctor and see what they recommend. There are medications or even ways to help it.

My advice would be to check with your doctor. My state does mandatory drug testing before and after the baby is born. If any drug shows up CPS is called. Also, there are not enough studies out to determine short/long term effects to the baby.

I had a friend that did. Her ob told her to do it. It helped her when nothing else did. Her daughter is a healthy 7yr old
