I NEED HELP

My husband and I have TTC for three moths, we have been together for almost 6 years, but just now we decide that we want a baby. My confusion is that every time we have sex I run so fast to the bathroom to clean my self and my BFF always tell me to wait because if not, I'm not going to get pregnant is that true or not? Because I really don't like it.🤔
