Will a rook piercing heal in 6 months?

I just posted a poll today (go vote, everyone! 😂) on which piercing to get and I think I may get a rook. The thing is, my dad will have to take me to get it (my parents are mid-divorce) but I don’t see him for 2 weeks. The problem is is that I’m going to Hawaii in June (7-11) and I want to be able to swim in the ocean and the pool without worrying if it will get infected or not. I have a couple other cartilage piercings, and they both healed in about 7 months. If my piercing is about 5 months old, is it bad to swim in the ocean while it’s still healing? Advice?
