Epidural vs nothing

Moms who have had multiple babies with different methods. I want to know from people who have had epidurals and no main medication. Would you do it again without anything? I was induced and had an epidural with my first. When putting it in, they hot a nerve and my leg shot up. I had to push a button to get my epidural and I rarely pushed it. Afterward, i swear it gave me nerve damage. I was having hand spasms and dropping things after birth for a few weeks. I really want to do it without for my next. I wouldn’t say I have a high pain tolerance at all but I believe I can do it without an epidural. I want to hear others opinions!
