Cold feet about Nursing Career... HELP

I have applied to all the nursing (RN) programs that I can and am ready to pursue this career. I am getting cold feet though, Im smart enough to do it but Im also clumsy, and forgetful. I am scared that I will end up getting someone killed because of these things. I worry that I may not be compassionate enough. I also do not think that bedside care would be for me in the longterm, I want a role more in education or community health or forensics. What I can say is that I am smart, passionate about anatomy and physiology, a hard worker, and want to keep learning.

Nurses, am I applying for the wrong profession? All replies are appreciated! If I am not a good match for RN, what else would you suggest? (I am willing to go to university for up to 10 years)
