Incision not closing after 4 weeks

So I’m almost 4 weeks post my third C-section. I’ve got about a 1 inch spot that isn’t closing. Checked up with my doctor on it at two weeks and he didn’t seem worried it. Said it was just how the skin was healing after 3 surgeries. However it is so frustrating to me! I didn’t experience this with my last two. Any thoughts or experiences on what they might do next week at my check up if it isn’t closed? Will they Steri-Strip again (left off at 2 week check up feeling like it would close on its own) it or try stitches? Will I just have a hole until it decides to close? I just want to be fully healed because other than this on my mind constantly I feel really good 😫
