Piggybacking off of the post on child leashes, what do you think of putting trackers on teens, ages 13-19, weather its in there phone, car, or on their body?

Bones question: Is my friends mom in the right? My friend is 18 and lives with her mom, who put a tracker in her phone, if my friend is not EXACTLY were she said she'd be, her mom calls screaming. If we drive to a coffee shop well we are hanging out, and she told her mom she was going to be at me and my BF’s house, she calls screaming. She is constantly worried that my friend is ”raped and dead in a ditch”.
