Free no. More affordable, (from a USA stand point) fuck yeah.

In my country all schools are free and I’m very happy to pay taxes for a working society with a good health care system. And if I get unemployed I’m taken care of. I live in Finland. You know the country were we apparently rake our forests 😂

Absolutely. Saying college shouldn’t be free is saying college should only be for those who can afford it. Education needs to be available for all who seek it.

Free? Eh. Cheaper? Most definitely. College students are really taken advantage of, I find. You get no breaks there. People see kids who want to further their education, do some self discovery, have a little fun, and gain real life experience and completely take advantage of that. Your credit gets screwed over before you can hardly establish it. Everything is way expensive. Not only is tuition expensive, but then there’s the books, the food, and the housing. I get it. Everything costs money. Nothing is free. Employees have to be paid and raw materials need to be purchased. Okay. But the way the prices of everything has risen just doesn’t make sense. When my sister was in college, the biggest scam was the “not on campus, but right next door” apartments. I get you pay for location but damn. $500 per month per 4 people. There is no way those apartments and the maintenance upkeep call for $2,000/month in rent.
