My son?!

My son just turned a year & I am 8weeks pregnant and he’s been acting out (throwing tantrums throwing himself screaming) ... is it because he knows I’m pregnant ? Because he never used to do this.

Mine did this and it seemed to happen more frequently when he was teething.

My daughter did this when I got pregnant with my son. I think it’s normal. I’ve heard it’s kind of jealousy knowing another baby will take up your time. They can sense your emotions.

My 3 year old knows I'm having his little sibling. I'm 20w and he's been to the dr with me to see the baby in sonogram. I started very early encouraging him to be excited for his sibling. Telling him how wonderful HE will be as a big brother and how awesome HE will be teaching the new baby how to play and be a good boy/girl and really putting it out there that He is super important and always will be. He seemed to really do well with that so far. His stepmom just found out she is pregnant and well.. now he is acting out more and wanting to act like a baby but it is getting better because we both use the "YOU" technique on him. We want to make sure he continues to feel important and helpful and loved even if 2 babies are joining the family now. They are gonna have fits and acting out here and there regardless, I feel. So when mine does I just let him Express his feelings (without me giving it attention because that makes it worse) and when he's calmed down enough we sit down and talk through his feelings and he's always in a much better mood and listens better after we talk. It's hard sometimes but you gotta power through. They know babies are gonna take attention from them. We just have to do our best to remind them they wont lose any love just because we also love the baby 😊

Mine did the same. He was sooooo freakin mean to me and so nice to his dad. I’m 15 weeks now and he’s been nicer lately. We’ll see how long it lasts.

It’s because he’s a toddler lol sounds pretty normal they also have a hard time communicating at this age so get upset easily

Mine did the same thing. I’m 16 weeks and he still has fits now and then, I just hold him when he’s done kicking and give him sugars.

Its normal its just the age and trust me there will be more of it! Lol it will come in waves. Im almost 20 weeks and my little one is going to be 2 ..ohh mannn she could throw a tantrum and is a big meanie sometimes. Shes prettty unphased about me having a baby and could really care less (oh shes in for a big surprise when this little one comes).
