Is shorter better ?

Those of you who have longer first names.. does it get annoying to spell them all the time or use a shorter nickname? Would you rather have a shorter name?

My names Elizabeth and I've always liked writing it out. I hate when someone tries to use a nickname for me.

I have a longish first name and it’s never bothered me. I don’t care for the nickname Gabby, and have always preferred that people call me by my full name first name. 
It IS annoying to have 2 middle names though. 😫 Altogether my full name is 31 letters long, which is 5 letters longer than the alphabet. 😂

My name is Annakate, it's all one word no hypen no capital K it confuses a lot of people. A lot of people can't say it either when they see it which I think is odd. So I always have to spell it out. Plus I have to spell out my last name as it's Lillie and most people think it's lilly. So normally takes ages when my name is needed. My partner is called Sam and he never has any trouble! I love my name though and wouldn't change it. 
My son's name is 6 letters and my daughter is 4 and I always have to spell them out too!

My name is 5 letters long and I wish it was longer! I always wanted a nickname but it is too short and no one ever could think up a nickname for me that had to do with my actual name.

My name is 4 letters and any nickname somebody uses for me just extends my name so I feel like it kind of misses the point of a nickname but thats just me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My name is Tori and I kid you not When I was in 1st grade I used to beg my mom to let me change the spelling to Torrie because I wanted to have more letters to write lmao . But in my opinion 5-7 letter names are the sweet spot , not too short not too long 🤷🏾‍♀️ 
Also my oldest is Karsyn and she’s known how to spell it since 18 months and now at 2 she’s learning to write it at school . She also doesn’t have a name associated nickname that she could write instead either though

Unless its something important, I write my name as Jenn most of the time. I don't have much patience for the rest of my name when I'm in a hurry 🤷🏻‍♀️
