Apologies for the long post! I’ve just read an article (posted below) on “blackfishing”, where white women appear black or ‘racially ambiguous’. High traffic cases of these (included in the originally article but I haven’t included it here because it’s long enough) includes the Kardashian Jenner family, and someone else I can think of is Ariana Grande. Robert Kardashian was Armenian, and Ariana Grande has Italian heritage.

Is what is occurring here cultural appropriation? Or is it just appreciation or ‘accidentally’ appearing another race?
