How do you live with husband who had affair?

How long till you started to heal from an affair? How during such a long process do you live with the other person and such??? We have a baby together which is why I'm trying to nake it work.
We are starting counselling soon but I am staying at my sister's for now because it's all too fresh.

We are a year down the road from me finding out and it’s a daily a struggle. I too stayed because of the kids but I still resent him. Hopefully you all are able to stick with the counseling. We were not and stopped going.

U never really get over it u can move on from it and forgive but in the back of your head u will never fully trust him aging. And personally I would never stay with someone for a child. And if he did it once he will have no problem most the time not all the time do it aging. U taking him back alot of times guys think well she forgives me so they can do it aging. I wouldn’t! I use to say I would never get a divorce, any thing is workable. However, having a child change that for me. My daughter should not have to see her mom or her dad for that matter get stepped on and treated poorly. She also deserves happy parents. I feel like you should really think about it, there is someone who wouldn’t cheat, or hurt you. It’s important to show your kids how to be happy and not stay for the kids.

Look at it this way, you obviously want what is best for your kid(s) but is the two of you trying to make it work causing more of a stressful environment then a happy one? In order for you to be the best mom you can be you need to take care of yourself and your own happiness. For me an affair is a deal breaker, I couldn't and wouldn't be able to ever look at my man the same so it would be healthier for my family.if we separate, however I would highly recommend continuing therapy to learn how to co parent.

From my experience its very hard to deal with. my now ex and I were together 12 years and have 3 kids together he played me many times and I never left him because of our kids and I was scared. But the Sunday before thanksgiving I found him eating out with some girl and her driving his car 💔😢 it broke me and still hurts alot but I think it's better to give your self time to heal because it's not easy and you never trust the same. Btw I left him and he tries to make me feel like I'm wrong but I know I'm not. If he loves you he will change and allow you your space.

Until he fucks up again.  You shouldn't have stayed period, but if you are going to.  Don't give him a third chance and so on.
