Am I just being paranoid?

Is it weird that I'm.. I guess jealous of my boyfriend's baby mama? I've been dating my current boyfriend for about a year and a half. He has a 2 year old son and I love them both to death. But his baby mama has recently left her husband and I've been worried that her being single might bring up some past feelings with my boyfriend. 
I've brought up these concerns with my boyfriend and he's assyred me that nothing will happen, but I'm still worried. Has anyone else had this problem? Or am I just being paranoid?

Well if y'all brought it up and he told you then I'd say go with what he says and calm down. It won't do anyone any good if you're worked up over nothing. It'll just cause drama.

I haven’t been in the same position but I’d say those feelings are completely normal. However a child does not make two people more compatible and odds are unless he has shown you otherwise, he’s probably really not into her.

It’s a hard situation to be in-I’ve been there. but he’s choosing to be with you and it’s good that you talked to him about your concerns but I would trust what he says and try to let go of that worry💕
