When did you announce or planning to announce?

I'm 10 weeks 1 day. Saw baby yesterday. We did not hear the heart beat but saw it on the screen. My husband wants to announce it on facebook (hes excited and impatient). Pretty much all our family and close friends know but I'm just not sure when to tell my work, who is also on facebook. 
I wanted to announce on Christmas when I'll be 13 weeks. But since we saw the baby and heartbeat do you think safe?? I'm so worried to gave a miscarriage even though it's rare at this point. I wish I would of heard the heart beat.

I announced to family and close friends early just because I wanted a support system. I’m going to announce publicly on Christmas because then I’ll be 12 weeks 😊

With my first, I waited until 14 weeks, second trimester to announce on FB. 
I told my parents at 7 weeks, my mother in law etc at 9 weeks 
I had an ectopic that involved surgery and losing a tube, this spring and honestly it depresses me. It was so hard having some people not know bc it literally changed my life. I just think about, is this something you'd want the world to know if it happened. Meaning a miscarriage. I'm not saying it will happen! We didn't hear the heartbeat for our first on our first ultrasound, it wasn't until I was like 11 weeks that I heard it! But I saw it which Is a good sign! Sometimes it's nice also having the support from social media people. Idk. That's just me. We eventually shared a little of our story to FB world.
We're 7+ weeks now and my two best friends know, my husbands army buddies know, my friend who's wedding I was supposed to be in knows bc by my LMP says I'm due the day after her wedding. 
We are waiting to tell my parents and my in laws until Christmas morning which is so freaking hard. 
Once I have the scan around 11 or 12 weeks I feel like I can tell the world. Well the world will most likely already know bc our families can't keep things to themselves.

We’ve only told a couple of people.
My first pregnancy ended in a MMC at 13+4. We had a scan at 12 weeks and he never grew past that.
With number 2 we had our scan at 13 weeks and announced after that. So we’ll do the same thing this time.

Saw baby and heartbeat at 9 weeks (two days ago) and immediately made the announcement! We've known for a month and it's killing us to keep the secret lol
