If you’re the praying type....

Hi all. I’m asking for prayers for my family, especially my dad.

The week of thanksgiving he was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer, multiple myeloma. It’s treatable, but not curable. He has a long and painful road ahead. He is still very young, 55, and has always taken care of himself. If the treatment works he could go in remission for 2 years, or 10 years there’s just so much unknown.

My daughter is named after three men including my father, his father, and his stepfather.

I was lucky to have most of my grandfathers for 20 years of my life and I’m very emotional at the thought of Charlie Jaye not getting the same experience. My dad is her only living grandfather, as my husbands dad passed away young from pancreatic cancer when my husband was 16.

My moms father is also very sick and in his last days/weeks of life, so her husband and father are very sick and I know she’s going through it. I’m trying to stay strong for everyone especially with little sleep and a newborn it’s so hard.
