I started mine at 16 weeks. You should definitely be fine at 34. Just try a cup and make sure you react ok. If so you can up to 2-3 a day.

It doesn’t start up labor if that’s what you’re worried about. It just tones the cervix. I started mines last week at 34 weeks.
