UTI pain???

Question

Any of you all have/had a UTI while pregnant? What are your symptoms like?? (Yes, I am already on medication.)

My symptoms were the same as when I wasn’t pregnant. Painful urination, overall burning down there, back kind of hurt. I got off my medication and it didn’t go away fully, I had lingering pain and no one thought anything of it. It spread to my kidneys and then my back hurt a whole lot where my kidneys are. My point is not to scare you just to tel you to keep an eye on your symptoms and speak up if they aren’t going away! I will say that the medicine I got while pregnant took a little longer to make the symptoms go away than normal. Because I think they have to give you something different or a lower dosage.
