Would you name your son "Gotham"?

My husband is a HUGE Batman fan and wants to name our son "Gotham". I don't have anything against the name itself, just not sure if I would like that to be my son's name. I'm curious to see how many people would or would not do it. Please explain in the comments :) TIA!

I feel like there’s a less  infant way to pay tribute to a passion. Like naming him Bruce or Wayne as a first or middle name??

If you like it and he likes it, do what you want. It really doesn’t matter what other people think. There are literally people named sail boat. Jobs are much more diverse and if your child has the qualifications later in life less people are going to say “this person is named after Batman. We can’t hire him even though he’s ridiculously qualified.” Will it be different? Yes. Will it be unheard of? No.

I say go with what you like. My husband is a Trekkie and we named our daughter Jadzia after a character. It’s also a Polish name.

Name your kid whatever you want my girls are Mirage(9) and Illusion(due Jan 4)...I've even heard of ppl naming their girls Abcde( absidy).
