So Wednesday I went to my OBGYN for a regular checkup. I've been going every week for as long as I can remember due to being high risk.. I always get an ultrasound, NST, & prenatal talk with my Dr. cause she is a specialist for high risk. So I have the ultrasound, do the NST & was having contractions, they kept asking me are you having connections? Cause they would show on the monitors so I said yes. Now done with the NST I go for my usual talk with doc as she usually measures my belly & checks on me & baby. She goes over my ultrasounds & NST & says well I think it's time 😓 I was like oh really?! She says yes being that baby heart rate was low & she was measuring behind in the 12th percentile. Mind y'all when she said it's time, I'm thinking like maybe Thurs. Fri. or someone this weekend... No she was like stay put she calls the hospital L&D & comes back & says well baby will be here today. I go straight over & they get me in a room & I wait for my c section, which I knew was happening because she had also been beech the entire pregnancy, even now at 38+4. This was about 11/12 this afternoon. Had to wait because there was about 3 sections before me then ended up having an emergency section who had to skip me. FINALLY it's my turn, got spinal block, laid down.. They prepped me & it begins. It was so weird & not half as bad as I was told or thinking.. Even now in recovery with baby girl 💗 still waiting to eat & get up and have my first walk but so far so good. My Marley Reign was born 12/05/18 at 9:03pm & my birthday is 12/08, couldn't be more happier with my birthday gift. I'm so in loveeeee. It's been an eventful day & I'm still in shock that i have a newborn. It's finally over with lol hang in there mamas 😘
