Anyone taking anything for nausea?

I am 9 weeks today and have been so nauseous pretty much all day. It starts in the morning and backs off a little around the middle of the day and comes back bad at night. I’ve only actually thrown up once but the lingering nausea is really bad. My doctor told me at the first appointment if I thought I needed something for it to call, I am just skeptical that he will prescribe me something that is at risk for birth defects. Is anyone taking a prescription for their nausea??
