First known chemical pregnancy
So I'm in the middle of an early pregnancy loss and boy does it suck. I had positive hpts 11DPO through 14DPO and had told my SO and let myself get excited. At 17 DPO I felt like something was wrong because my breasts had lost their fullness and soreness, and my hpt had a fading positive on 18DPO. Evening of 19DPO began the bad cramping and very heavy bleeding (I never cramp or have particularly heavy normal periods). I was only 4 weeks 5 days along, but I feel totally gutted. My logical brain understands that chemical pregnancy is extremely common and does not interfere with the ability to have a future healthy pregnancy, but emotionally I am wrecked. I am mad at myself for testing early and feel like maybe it's best to wait to test until a week after a missed period to avoid having this heartache again. Anybody else with a similar experience?
