Safe paint?

I want to paint or spray paint my crib black. Was wondering which paint or spray was safe to do that on baby furniture. Also should i do a Matt paint or a glossy one for crib?

I would
Make sure you don't go cheap with the paint
You get , once baby is bigger rubbing on crib when getting child in & out , child standing & holding on to the top could cause it to flake

It's save just make sure you have a clear coat on top so no paint chips also make sure to sand it before because you can't paint over the clear coat on them
